“Bonilla Construction has completed a number of remodeling projects in my Capitol Hill home over the past several years - since 2005. Projects included the conversion of our old basement into a fully finished leaving space, installation of custom kitchen cabinets, bathroom remodeling, wood floor replacement and finishing, wall plastering and painting, and general maintenance. I have trusted access to my house to Miguel and his family-based crew; they are honest and trustworthy. Projects have been on budget, on time, and of the highest quality. I recall a day when Miguel and his son were adding crown molding to the ceiling of a room. As he was completing the installation we noticed that the air conditioning vent was on the path of the molding. I suggested cutting the molding around the vent location. But Miguel said that he would think of a better solution. Later that day, when I went back to check on progress, Miguel proudly pointed at the vent area. He had moved the whole vent down a few inches with some extra ducting material he happened to have, he re-plastered the area to perfection, and kept the molding going straight across above the vent. The solution gave a much better look to the ceiling molding. He went beyond what was asked without even trying to negotiate additional monetary compensation. Every project had a “duct vent” episode and Miguel never took shortcuts completing work with great detail and workmanship. My continued use of Bonilla Construction over the period that almost spans 10 years is indicative of my satisfaction with the firm and I recommend them without reservations. ”
